Why This Guide Exists
Florida provides public access to many arrest and booking records, but each part of a case may sit with a different custodian. MCSO creates or maintains county booking entries and may show a photograph on its Current Arrests detail page. Its Current Inmates list answers a different question about current custody and is not a photo gallery. The Monroe County Clerk holds court filings and dispositions, and the Florida Department of Corrections publishes information about people represented in state-corrections databases. This site explains those boundaries, the official lookup steps, and the public-record request route without republishing photographs.
What Readers Can Find
The pages are organized around the official path that fits the question:
- The county arrest guide explains the MCSO feed, current roster, active-warrant index, booking photographs, court follow-through, and records requests.
- Separate Arrested Today and Arrest Reports pages explain the same-day and multi-day views without treating them as a permanent archive.
- The VINE Arrest Check page covers custody-status checks and notification registration for one person.
- City pages explain how Key West, Marathon, and Islamorada arrests reach the county booking system and which agency may hold the incident report.
Limits of This Site
Monroe County Recent Arrests is privately operated. It is not connected with MCSO, the Monroe County jail system, the Clerk, FDC, or any local, state, or federal office.
- We cannot release, hold, or transfer a person in custody.
- We cannot post bond, arrange a visit, or send funds for anyone.
- We cannot confirm a current charge, custody status, or release.
- We do not give legal advice or act for a records custodian.
Only the office maintaining a record can confirm its current contents, and a booking or charge reflects an accusation rather than guilt.
Search Partner Disclosure
Some pages contain search tools supplied by outside providers. Those companies control their own results, data practices, and prices. If a visitor follows a tool and purchases a subscription or other service, this site may receive a referral fee that helps keep the guide available at no charge. Payment does not improve any official Monroe County record, and this site cannot control a partner's result.
